Mission Statement
To provide restorative justice facilitation services to benefit victims and address the root issues of offenders in a context of healing and reconciliation to address the disproportionate representation of Indigenous people in the criminal justice system and child and family services.
Core Values
Respect for Indigenous Ways of Knowing: Honouring traditional values to guide restorative justice practices.

Collaboration and Partnership: Work collaboratively in a spirit of true partnership with formal referral authorities (police, Crown prosecutors, justices, attorneys, social workers), community agencies, and Elders to customize restorative processes that are attentive to the needs of all involved parties.

Safety and Empowerment: Ensure everyone feels heard, safe, respected, and empowered.

Mutual Accountability: To benefit individuals involved in formal services to achieve mutually agreeable resolution outcomes.
Objectives

Objective #1
Sharing Circles - offer a safe space for practitioners to attend to their wellness, share cultural events or updates about social-justice RJ work, and their learnings from a facilitation experience.

Objective #2
Provide a platform for the Alberta Indigenous Restorative Justice in Action (AIRJA) Stakeholders to action theme areas from the "Nothing About Us Without Us, What We Heard Report".

Objective #3
Provide culturally relevant restorative justice services in response to the TRC Restorative Justice Calls to Action and the Alberta Court of Justice Indigenous Justice Strategy.
